Accomplishments/Milestones/Happenings:
~Mommy and Emma "kangaroo cared" during Emma's 5pm feeding
~Changed to actual preemie diapers not Micro-preemie diapers. They are still big on Emma but it's step in the right direction.
I have also been asked what Kangaroo Care is. Here is a description found from http://www.prematurity.org/baby/kangaroo.html
Kangaroo Care consists of placing a diaper clad premature baby in an upright
position on a parent's bare chest - tummy to tummy, in between the
breasts. The baby's head is turned so that the ear is above the parent's
heart.
